Make a paste comprising of milk, egg yolk and pumpkin. Apply it on your face and leave on for half an hour. Follow this regularly as this procedure helps to nourish the skin and imparts a natural glow to the face. 

Take a banana and mash it. Mix this mashed banana with 
milk and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash with cold water to get glowing skin. 

Take 1 Tsp dry curry leaves and some fullers earth. Make a fine paste of the two. Apply this mixture on your face and leave it on till it dries. Wash off with normal water. This helps to cleanse the skin from deep and will remove traces of pollution and dirt. Doing this regularly, will help to remove any blemishes and keep your skin clean and glowing. 

Having clean skin is important if you want your skin to glow. Skin can be cleansed using this simple home remedy. Take some yogurt or buttermilk and apply on your face with a cotton ball. Both these products contain lactic acid and lactic acid acts as a gentle exfoliator. It gently exfoliates the skin to remove the surface layer. Also, the fat in both these products is soothing to the skin. After applying on your face, leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse off with warm water. 

You can also mix some crushed pieces of cucumber with milk and apply on your face. Again, the same way the lactic acid contained in milk helps to mildly exfoliate the skin. Exfoliation of skin helps to remove the top layer and reveal fresh and glowing skin. Exfoliation once a week is important.



Home made masks for glowing skin 

Take a mixture of orange, lemon and cucumber peels and grind them. Apply this mixture as a face pack. Leave on for 20 minutes and then wash off. Apply this mask once daily for seven days and you will see a noticeable improvement in facial skin. This face pack helps to make the skin glow. It is efficient and cheap too. 

If you want home made masks for glowing skin, you can try out this strawberry mask. 

Take three strawberries and mash it. Apply this pulp as a face mask and leave on for ten minutes. Wash off with rose water. Strawberries are slightly acidic and contain Vitamin C. This face mask will leave you with glowing and radiant skin. 

This fruit face pack is also very effective for glowing skin. Take 1 tbsp ripe peach pulp, 1 tbsp ripe papaya paste, 1 tbsp pomegranate juice and 1 tbsp of any clay like fullers' earth (multani mitti). Mix all and make it into a thick paste. Spread well all over the 
face and neck. Rinse off after 15 minutes and you will see your skin glow instantly. 

Another good mask you can apply to the face to get glowing skin is carrot and turnip mask. Take both these ingredients and boil for five minutes. Make it into a paste and apply it on your face for about ten minutes. Wash off with milk. This will make your face look clean, wonderfully fresh and glowing.


Diet for Glowing Skin 

To have glowing skin you need to eat right. 

Include plenty of Vitamin C in your diet. Lemons, grapes, oranges, limes contain Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to fight wrinkles. To make your skin glow and shine try to include more of tomatoes, fish, green vegetables like spinach, broccoli and sweet potatoes in your diet. End your day with a cup of green tea.
