If not, get one. It ensures an even application.  Mix a little moisturizer in your foundation. Most skins are dehydrated even though we may not realize it. In any case, moisturizer adds a sheen to the foundation.  Mix an equal amount of foundation and moisturizer in the palm of your hand, and wipe it over your face.  Blend it with a damp sponge and finish off with a dusting of compact powder. And voila! You won't be able to tear your eyes away from the mirror.
